Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive imaging technology that produces three-dimensional detailed anatomical images. It is often used for disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment monitoring.

What to Expect During the Procedure

You will be asked to lie on a movable table that slides into the MRI machine. The machine uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to create images of the body. You may hear loud tapping or thumping noises during the scan, which is completely normal. The procedure is painless and usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes.
